Miranda K. Hawkins has been practicing law since 1999. Miranda provides practical legal advice and counseling to families and individuals in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate, and estate and gift tax planning. Miranda advises a wide variety of clients, including individuals and families who want to plan for their children and families who need more sophisticated estate and gift tax planning advice.
Early in her career, Miranda practiced in the areas of fiduciary liability litigation, ERISA, and employee benefits. Miranda also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Timothy L. Fasing of the Arapahoe County District Court in 1999-2000.

Experience
Anne began her professional career as an auditor and registered Certified Public Accountant (Illinois). After obtaining her law degree, Anne used her accounting background to practice in the area of business fraud litigation. Her passion for helping others later led her to work in the public interest sector at Metro Volunteer Lawyers, where Anne coordinated the provision of advance planning documents for older adults experiencing poverty by recruiting and training volunteer attorneys and facilitating an extensive pro bono clinic program. Anne now focuses her passion for helping others on assisting families and individuals with trust and estate planning, administration, and probate.

Madeline VanHeuvelen
ParalegalMadeline VanHeuvelen graduated magna cum laude from National American University with a bachelor's degree in 2014. She began her career working as a litigation paralegal in Rapid City for a family law firm. Later moved to Las Vegas where she continued to gain extensive paralegal experience specializing in medical defense, bankruptcy, and construction litigation. Madeline recently moved to Denver and joined Hawkins Gordon in January 2023. She assists clients with estate and trust administration as well as the preparation of estate planning documents.
